About Jessi Sevy

In my teenage years, I picked up my first oil painting set after studying drawing in an Atelier for a year. My excitement for starting my painting lesson crashed when my mentor decided to immigrate to Canada. A few years passed; I made my first trip to Paris, where I intended to study Fine Art. It didn’t work out, either. I still had a forever-changing young mind to turn to Photography. After one year of studying at The School Of The Art Institute Of Chicago, I found Digital Art appealing. Upon graduating from the SAIC Art & Technology program with a BFA, I began my career as a 3D Artist and worked on commercials, games, and movie visual effects.

Then, life happened. After my family members increased, working in the fast-paced film industry in Los Angeles became barely a family choice. I returned to pursue the tangible form of Art I used to love but put away. The numerous talents and resources in LA helped flourish my passion for Art. In 2006, my family moved to Portland, Oregon. We built a small studio and I dedicated my time to Painting.
